Our story
Taktaz Motor history
Taktaz Motor is headquartered at No. 224, Mirdamad Boulevard, Tehran. Its sales and after-sales teams support a nationwide network of more than 110 dealers from this office.
The foreign trade team sources CKD kits from international partners, while the domestic trade team orders and supplies locally manufactured parts. Production infrastructure has developed in the Qazvin industrial region since 1998.

The first factory opens
A 15,000-square-metre site opened in the Qazvin industrial region with four halls totalling 5,000 square metres and a 500-square-metre office building.
7 Tir 1378
Parts manufacturing begins
A 6,000-square-metre parts factory with 4,500 square metres of production halls began making metal components including frames, rear forks and stands.
1 Azar 1379
Suzuki Japan licence awarded
Taktaz Motor obtained a Suzuki Japan motorcycle manufacturing licence for Iran and began licensed production of the Suzuki GS125.

Major factory expansion
The site gained 20,000 square metres of land, four production and assembly halls totalling 8,000 square metres, and an automated washing and paint line with a 50-metre oven.

Hartford cooperation expands
The partnership with Hartford Taiwan expanded and mass production of the Hartford VR150 and HD200 began.

Daelim partnership
The NF125 was introduced to the Iranian market through cooperation with Daelim of South Korea.
1394–2021
A new generation of Suzuki models
Suzuki GSX155 and GW250 arrived in 1394, followed by the GSX250 in 1399 and the Suzuki DL250 in 2021.
